![]() I'm still going to get the PS3 version (it's the only version I can get), but I'm kind of sick of the treatment it's been getting from developers lately.Normally I’m not huge on racing games - astute readers will notice I didn’t rank a single one on my Top 111. I've barely touched Home since it was released and I still don't have much of a reason to touch it now. It needs something and I'd honestly prefer it not be something lame like a Home space or Home avatar support. With the Wii at the very least getting Mii suport and the 360 version getting both Banjo-Kazooie as well as Avatar support, the PS3 version is looking pretty shafted right now. They honestly should be in the game as they'd be the perfect counterpart to the 360 version having Banjo and Kazooie as an extra console exclusive racer. Not to say 'They are in the game' just 'that quote in particular doesn't really destroy the possibility'. I'd say it's more foolish to completely dismiss the possibility of them being in the game because of that quote. Rare and Fable being very much associated with Microsoft. ![]() That quote is horribly phrased and I wouldn't really trust it much at all considering it says 'not Ratchet and Clank but Rare or Fable'. WOO! All what we need then is 1970's trousers mode and we'll have the most epic version ever, driving the HOMO-mobile in your 70's trousers! you know what the car will be called don't you! WELL!? The HOMO-Mobile! OH NO! If Home avatars are included in the game. Maybe if theres some ASR themed furniture or an ASR personal Space, then it may save a lot of anger from PS3 owners. I can't honestly see Home avatars being put into the game because it would mean that the game has to access your Home save file data and get into a specific location and identify what your current avatar is since you can have several avatars pre-loaded, then there is the issue of costumes, it may cause a few issues if suddenly you find a Nathan Drake costume driving an ASR car, or a Street Fighter 4 character on the starting grid beside Ryo, although that would be rather epic.īut SOL did say earlier that all versions would be getting equal treatment (or words to that effect), so I really do hope it's something good and not just a Home space that'll add nothing. However as the weeks go on and we get more info about each title, I am growing concerned that the PS3 version will find it's only feature is being shafted again. It's been said that they are planned to be included in a future game, I don't think however that when Sony said this they were speaking about this title though. Have the Playstaion Home Avatars ever had something like this, though? I mean have they ever been usable in a game? ![]() I'm still very curious about the Wii Connect 24 feature the Nintendo Channel has listed, will be very cool if they've given the game it's own channel for tournaments, leaderboards and things. Brawl and I think Mario Kart Wii have that feature but I cant remember if GC Controller is applied to the instant controller switching in those games. ![]() They must have tried their best with GC support but couldn't get it to work with the design they've implemented for instant controller switching at any point in the game. It makes sense.įrom what S0L said it sounds like they were listening to the fans and Mii support musn't take as long to implement as something like custom vehicles. Hey, do you guys think that Miis were added in at the last minute because Wii-only owners kept complaining about the 360 version getting Avatars? Craig Duncan was the one who stated there wasn't going to be Mii support originally, and Steve just posted that they went back to try and incorporate GameCube controller support. ![]()
